Number 8 is fully integrated into the community of Pershore. It was inspired by the local community, realised by the local community and is now supported by them operationally and as attendees. Its reputation has grown beyond the boundaries of its core audience and has become known for its spirit and provision. At all levels Number 8 aims to offer a high quality, friendly and diverse arts experience to all its attendees and staff.
Number 8 operates as an independent cinema screening mainstream, art house & children's films as well as being a live events venue programming opera, theatre, music and dance. There is also a continuous programme of art and designer craft exhibitions cases set within our lovely coffee bar.
Number 8 runs a popular Youth Theatre and weekly children’s dance classes, as well as Chance to Dance, a dance programme for over 55s. The venue is also home to Pershore Operatic & Dramatic Society (PODS) who are our resident amateur company and a host of Arts and Leisure courses such as yoga, art classes and ballet.
The venue is available for hire by community groups or the corporate sector for regular classes, conferences, meetings and training events.
Situated on Pershore High Street Number 8 is an excellent place to visit during the day or evening to be entertained, educated or even just to get a good cup of coffee!
