Help Wanted: Props & Costumes

No show is complete without the input of the large team who bring together an entire entertainment, be they acting, directing or technical crew.

Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) is blessed with an extraordinary support team – but nobody’s youth and strength last for ever!  PODS has an extensive collection of props and costumes that has been built up over several years. So the group is looking for a volunteer or two, or more, who may be interested in looking after the wardrobe collection, or organising props.  They may not need to sew, or construct, let alone design or build – but they do need to love the theatre (without necessarily wanting to perform). Most importantly, they  should want to contribute to the team and the good name of PODS with its second-to-none reputation in this town and in local amateur theatre.

After all, who gets to handle a Victorian bodice or a revolver on a day-to-day basis?  Who normally has the pleasure of rummaging through dozens of hats just to find the right one to go with the silver headed walking cane?
