ESO Summer School

Number 8 are offering young people the opportunity to put the fun back into learning a musical instrument with their first ever English Symphony Orchestra (ESO) Summer School. 

These stimulating courses offer the novice musician an opportunity to enjoy an intensive two days with like minded students and to learn new skills by developing musicianship, confidence and sociability.  During the two days there will be full orchestra and sectional rehearsals, games and activities, singing and breathing exercises and the opportunity to build up improvisation skills. 

Each course will finish with a short concert for family and friends.

Beginners (Grades 1-3)  
Monday 9 & Tuesday 10 August 10.00am – 4.00pm
Booking Deadline: Monday 2 August

Intermediates (Grades 4-7)   
Monday 16 & Tuesday 17 August 10.00am – 4.00pm
Booking Deadline: Monday 9 August    

Cost: £60 per course (Please bring a packed lunch!)
