It’s 1927 and silent movies are on their way out! Dancer and screen idol Don Lockwood is caught up in the new world of the 'Talkies' with his friend, Cosmo Brown and Lina Lamont whose shrill voice clearly won't do at all!
Along comes the new love of Don’s life, Kathy Selden, whose voice gets them out of trouble much to Lina’s dismay. This iconic musical with its timeless songs is brought to you on stage - rain and all!
Based on the MGM film this Amateur production is presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd., on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York.
