'Stardust Glass Fusing' - Jackie Hawkins

Wednesday 15th September to Tuesday 5th October
The discovery of glass dates back to ancient times and throughout history it has been a highly prized material.  Dichroic glass is a contemporary development and is useful for craft-making because its colour changes as the light strikes from differing angles to create amazing effects.  Jackie uses dichroic glass in her pendants to create beautiful items of jewellery and uses ordinary glass for larger projects such as window hangers and bowls.  Jackie will also be exhibiting a selection of her other work, including paper quilled cards.
