‘Inner Landscape Series’ - Ray Hill

We cannot improve on nature.  What we can do is absorb all that we see with our physical eyes: colour, tone, form and texture. Then we can use our ‘internal eyes’, and add our own imaginings. From this we are able to create something new. This morphing of the outside natural world and the internal world of imagination produces an image that is familiar yet unrecognisable, comforting and intriguing.
