"The Darjeeling Limited" starring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman is an emotional comedy about three brothers re-forging family bonds, as they take a train trip across the vibrant landscape of India. The eldest brother is control-freak Francis (Owen Wilson); the middle one, Peter (Adrien Brody), is a responsibility-fugitive whose wife is about to have a baby back in the States; and the youngest, Jack (Jason Schwartzman, who also co-penned the script), is a writer of short stories which turn out to be near-verbatim accounts of episodes involving his odd family and its traumas. Francis has summoned his two brothers to India to reconnect with them a year after their father's death. He hands out detailed daily schedules and has a secret agenda: to find the trio's mother.
