Fans of wildlife programmes and previous nature films like Blue Planet and Winged Migration are sure to have their passion and astonishment at the wonders of the natural world satisfied by another uplifting and beautifully shot film. Earth, taken from the BBC Planet Earth series, takes us on a journey from North to South during the course of a year. There's a polar bear family, a herd of Kalahari elephants, cherry trees blossoming in a time lapse sequence and other stunning natural moments. The documentary is complemented by the rich and authoritative tones of Patrick Stewart.
