Directed by Jordan Scott

A dazzling debut from director Jordan Scott (daughter of legendary director Ridley Scott) this classy drama starring Eva Green (best known as Casino Royale’s Vesper Lynd) as Miss G, a glamorous and charismatic teacher at a stuffy English boarding school in the 1930s. Miss G refuses to be bound by the school's staid rules, encourages her charges, the girls of the swimming team to think and act freely. Miss G spellbinds her teenage charges with her tales of exotic travel, wilfully encouraging their crushes, but her poise is shaken when an outsider, beautiful aristocratic Spanish pupil Fiamma (María Valverde), joins the school and upsets the fragile status quo.

Running time: 104mins
