Nowhere Boy tells the story of the Beatles frontman’s teenage years and his relationships with his adoptive parent, aunt Mimi (Kristin Scott Thomas), and birth mum Julia (Anne-Marie Duff). The film shows a troubled fifteen year old Lennon (Aaron Johnson) struggling to hold on to his romantic vision of the world amidst growing family turmoil. A fascinating look at the early years of one of music’s most influential figures.
