Based on the novel by Walter Kirn, Up in the Air is a dramatic comedy that tells the story of Ryan Bingham (George Clooney), a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of fulfilling his personal ambition: achieving ten million frequent flyer miles. While on a mission to justify his nomadic lifestyle, Ryan’s determination to live a life free of relationships is brought into question when he meets Alex (Vera Farmiga), who may well be the woman of his dreams. Also starring Anna Kendrick, Jason Bateman, Tamala Jones and Chris Lowell.
