The compelling story of Margaret Thatcher, a woman who succeeded in a male-dominated world. The story concerns power and the price that is paid for power, and is a surprising and intimate portrait of one of the 20th Century's most famous and influential women.
The film stars Academy Award winners Meryl Streep as Lady Thatcher, Jim Broadbent as Denis Thatcher and Alexandra Roach and Harry Lloyd as their young counterparts. The film also stars a host of British acting talent, including Olivia Colman (Peep Show), Nicholas Farrell, Susan Brown (Hope and Glory), Roger Allam (Tamara Drewe), Anthony Head and Richard E Grant.
