Based on a true story, In Darkness tells the story of Leopold Socha (Robert Wieckiewicz), a sewer worker and petty thief in a Nazi occupied Polish city during WWII.
Although anti-Semitic, Socha hides a group of Jews in the sewers in exchange for a monthly stipend. But as suspicions rise and the war takes a sour turn, Socha's family and life become targets.
An extraordinary story of survival as men, women and children try to outwit certain death during months of ever-increasing and intense danger.
