‘A Portrait of a Sculptor’ – A. John Poole

Wednesday 24th June to Wednesday 15th July
A sculptor working over six decades, A John Poole’s work graces both private and public buildings nationally and he has twice been awarded the Otto Beit medal. Principally an architectural sculptor and often using groundbreaking techniques, he has worked in stone, wood, concrete and metal and also excels in the art of letter carving. He is currently working on a bronze John Donne, the poet.

This exhibition will feature photographs of some of A John Poole’s finest work, taken by award winning photographer Nic Gaunt, complemented by a selection of maquettes in the craft showcases.
