Maureen Sullivan - 'Light in Winter'

In the dormant days of Winter, light and colour can lift the spirits and remind us of the Spring to come. Maureen's stained glass pictures and sculptures will help to brighten the darkness. She depicts spiritual aspects of the Earth, the Moon, the Sun, trees, angels, Celtic crosses, boats, water, flowers and nature, using crystals, mosaic, and beach-combed glass.

Stained glass is unusual as an art form, because light shining through it seems to give it an energy of its own, which changes throughout the day and night, as the light changes.

Craft Exhibitions are open Monday to Saturday 10am - 4pm
