Sing The Blues Away

Lillian Boutté, the official Music Ambassador for New Orleans (successor to Louis Armstrong) is an internationally renowned jazz, blues and gospel singer and a favourite of Number 8 audiences. She has sung with Humphrey Lyttleton, Spike Robinson, Dr John, Alan Barnes, Alek Dankworth - to name but a few of the great musicians who have had the pleasure of working with her. She performs in prestigious jazz venues across Europe, Australia and the States - including, of course, the major New Orleans festivals.

Supported by her superb band and the workshop choir (see Creative Courses), she will bring her special charisma and magical interpretation of the music of New Orleans to Number 8, guaranteeing a night to remember.
