Presented by The Edge
An exciting musical packed with songs and dances from the 1970s from musical theatre group The Edge. A hilarious day-in-the-life tale set in a car wash in modern day Los Angeles as a motley crew of young city dwellers “work their fingers to the bone” waiting on the eccentric and sometimes haughty clientele. Throughout the day, the young men find time to indulge in personal pursuits: one young man fantasises about the pretty waitress working at a local restaurant, a militant preaches politics, and the more disgruntled workers find a way to justify their laziness. A fun filled foot tapping extravaganza that promises to keep audiences entertained.
This is the first production by The Edge, Worcestershire Arts Education’s new musical theatre group for talented young people aged between 9 to 14 years. For more information about the group please contact Worcestershire Arts Education, email - voicesandvisions@worcestershire.gov.uk
