Imagine yourself in a Jane Austen novel in the elegant age of Regency England. You will be dancing to the music of Dampier’s Round, (violin, flute and guitar) who will playing the lively tunes of the time, with all the dances walked through and called throughout by expert caller, Barbara Dunn.

If you have been to one of Dampier’s Round’s Barn Dances, then you are sure to enjoy this. The dances of the time are similar to those found in a Barn Dance but with a touch of class befitting ‘polite society’. Some are boisterous, some more graceful and elegant.

This is your opportunity to don your flowing dress or your most dazzling waistcoat and make it an evening to remember – and there’s no need to worry about accuracy, we are just aiming for a Pride and Prejudice feel so anything goes.
