Number 8 volunteers attended a ceremony on Friday 4 November to receive The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. The award was presented by the Vice Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, The Hon Lady Morrison and was accepted by long-time volunteer Eileen Perry on behalf of all Number 8 volunteers.

Online: Number 8 screenings and events can be booked online. To book just go to the What’s On section, select the event you would like to book and click the ‘book online’ button. Creative courses/workshops, events organised by hirers and wheelchair places are not available to book online. Please note online booking incurs a minimal booking fee of 65p per ticket for films and children’s theatre and 85p per ticket for events. We still do not charge any fees for bookings made in person or over the telephone.
Number 8 operates allocated seating. To see our seating plan click here. Seats on row J can provide a slightly restricted view for ballet or other dance performances (the feet of the dancers may be obscured by the guide rail).
Seats on front row (row A) of the auditorium can be reserved for wheelchair users and disabled patrons. For further access details click here. Please advise Box Office when booking if you require a wheelchair space or any additional assistance.

We accept payment in cash, debit or credit card, cheque (made payable to Number 8) or Number 8 gift voucher. Please note if you pay by cash or debit card Number 8 incurs lower bank charges (every little helps!)

Concessions are available, where specified, for children 16 and under, senior citizens, students in full time education and CEA Card holders. Proof of eligibility is required. Children under the age of 3 are free of charge if they are to be seated on a parents lap.

We regret we are unable to give refunds or exchange tickets unless the event is cancelled.
For live and satellite events latecomers will not be permitted until a convenient break. Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult (16+) at screenings and events. We always recommend that children are accompanied by an adult, but will admit children aged 12 and over unaccompanied.
No dogs apart from Guide Dogs are permitted on the premises.
The ground floor of Number 8 is fully accessible for wheelchair users and disabled patrons. The Auditorium is equipped with an infra-red hearing system for films and events live via satellite and selected screenings are shown with subtitles for those with hearing loss. CEA Card holders can obtain a FREE ticket for a person accompanying them to film screenings.
As space is limited, we cannot guarantee parking space for mobility scooters during shows. If you are planning to bring a scooter, please telephone before hand to check. Rain covers are available on request for scooters parked outside.
