Thursday 19th June to Wednesday 30th JulyThis year Pershore Embroiderers celebrate their 25th Anniversary. It was formed in 1983 by a group of enthusiasts wishing to share their interest and knowledge of embroidery, it has covered many aspects of needlework. The members welcome the opportunity to display their versatility and diverse talents of the group. This exhibition has examples of lace making, hardanger, patchwork, blackwork, stumpwork and much more. Whist appreciating and retaining traditional skills, the group seeks to extend its expertise with a series of demonstrations and workshops throughout the year.

Thursday 10th July to Tuesday 29th JulySince retirement from teaching, the artist and his wife have emulated 'The Grand Tour' of previous generations - collecting material for the paintings in this exhibition. There are images of buildings from many European towns and cities including some from Worcestershire.

The Staffordshire Band, Midlands Area Champions and Albert Hall Finalists in 2007, and the popular Arrow Valley Brass, return for their second joint concert at Number 8. They will be joined once again by the Soprano Sue Troth.

Youth Theatre Assistant
Voluntary Position
Number 8 are looking for a creative, energetic and responsible young person (16 years old and above) to work alongside our Youth Theatre Leader to deliver weekly drama classes for 7-11 year olds and/or 12+ year olds.

Ray Steadman, Managing Director of Number 8 received his MBE for services to the arts on Wednesday 19th March 2008.
