The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep (PG)

Adapted from the children's novel by Dick King-Smith (Babe) 'The Water Horse' follows the adventures of a lonely young boy who discovers a mysterious egg which hatches into a sea creature of Scottish legend. Starring Brian Cox, Emily Watson, David Morrissey and Ben Chaplin.

Pershore Heritage Centre - 'Royal Visits'

It's known that Aethelflaeda, the daughter of King Alfred, often visited the early monastery at Pershore, whilst relics of his grand-daughter, acquired for the abbey, resulted in the town becoming something of a pilgrimage centre.  It's said that King John would pray at St. Andrews en route for Worcester and it's thought that Queen Elizabeth once stayed at ‘The Angel', then an active coaching inn on the road from London to Aberystwyth.
