Jonathan Pryce and Pauline Collins star in this warm-hearted comedy about a curmudgeonly widower who runs a Kosher bakery in London’s East End. Struggling to run his understaffed shop, Nat (Jonathan Pryce) reluctantly employs teenager Ayyash (Jerome Holder) and when his apprentice’s marijuana stash accidentally falls in the mixing dough, the bread starts flying off the shelves! As business booms an unlikely friendship forms between the old Jewish baker and his young Muslim apprentice. An uplifting story about overcoming prejudice, and finding redemption in unexpected places.
Directed by John Goldschmidt.
