Kedi (U)

Kedi follows seven street cats in Istanbul as they bring joy and purpose to the locals they choose to adopt, becoming an essential part of the city’s different communities. Beautifully shot over two months on location in Istanbul, the filmmakers used innovative ‘cat cameras’ and new techniques to capture the street cat’s everyday lives, their backgrounds and stories which are just as varied as their human counterparts.

Directed by Ceyda Torun.
