This
poignant drama follows Kenzaburo (Lily Franky), a Japanese widower, who travels
to England with his son and his family, to scatter his wife’s ashes at Lake
Windermere. As their fraught father-son relationship threatens to upend the trip
Kenzaburo decides to continue alone. With limited English and little knowledge
of the Lake District, a lost and weary Kenzaburo needs the help of a local
farmer (Ciarán Hinds) to get back on course. But, his true journey toward
