Johansson’s directorial debut is a story of friendship and history starring
Oscar-nominated comedian/actress, June Squibb (Thelma). After her best
friend unexpectedly dies, Eleanor (Squibb) moves back to New York, to live with
her daughter (Jessica Hecht). Spending her days wandering around Manhattan, she
inadvertently attends a Holocaust survivors’ group that dramatically changes
the course of her life.
