Warwickshire-based
band the Wychwood Trio bring you an evening of folk with a rocky edge. They
describe their style as ‘frog’ as it is folk rock with a splash of prog. The
trio play original compositions – sometimes serious, more often irreverent
songs – from traditional foot-tapping instrumentals to retellings of historical
events, to songs about interesting people or the occasional bloodthirsty
murder, battle, or disaster. They encourage audience participation so feel free
to join in with the choruses!
