The story follows Alex
(Will Arnett) and Tess (Laura Dern) as their marriage quietly unravels. Alex
(Arnett), facing a midlife crisis, finds a new purpose in the New York stand-up
comedy scene to cope, while Tess (Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for
their family, forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form. Based on the life of British comedian John Bishop.
