Drop in and join us for a non-stop dancealong party and help us celebrate ‘Let’s Dance!’, a national campaign founded by Angela Rippon CBE. Let’s Dance aims to inspire everyone in the UK to embrace dance as a way to improve their health, connect with others, and have fun. On Sunday 2 March people all across the UK will be dancing and we want to be part of those celebrations! With eight senior-adult dance classes of our own running each week not to mention those led by our regular hirers, we couldn’t agree more with the aims of Let’s Dance.
So, you and your friends and relations are cordially invited to join us in the Courtyard Room for as much or as little time as you like. We’ll provide the soundtrack while you cut some moves on the dance floor! Two of our regular dance teachers, Amie and Marie will be on hand to inspire and motivate and the coffee bar will be open throughout for refreshments and a breather!
This a free, fun, upbeat, inclusive and informal event to celebrate the joy of dancing. No previous experience or booking necessary. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. Just come along!
The Let’s Dance campaign is supported by leading organisations including the Sport and Recreation Alliance, NHS, People Dancing and Parkinson’s UK. The mission is to get more people dancing together, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. For more information about the Let’s Dance campaign, click here
