On August 30, 1972, in New York City, John Lennon played his only
full-length show after leaving The Beatles, the One to One Benefit Concert, a
rollicking performance from him and Yoko Ono. Taking that epic musical event as
a starting point, this documentary recreates eighteen defining months in the
lives of John and Yoko. Including a wealth of never-before-seen material, home
movies, and phone call recordings, the film offers a unique take on a seminal period
in the lives of one of music’s most famous couples. Dir. Kevin Macdonald and Sam Rice-Edwards, 1hr 40mins,
cert 15.
