This wide-ranging body of work came out of a close collaboration between a ceramic artist and a photographer. The two different processes rapidly synthesised new ideas, where the output from one artist became the input for the other – and vice versa.
Fired, wheel-thrown objects include white earthenware, coloured with underglazes and slips. Alongside documentary photographs of works in progress, other images present digitally manipulated studies of some of the glazed surface effects.
