Join us once again in February half term as PODYS brings
their production of Shrek the Musical to stage at Number 8, in what promises to
be a ‘beast’ of a show.
Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, lived an ogre
named Shrek whose precious solitude is suddenly shattered by an invasion of
pesky fairy tale characters. Determined to save their home – not to mention
his – Shrek cuts a deal with Lord Farquaad and sets out to find Princess Fiona
for him with his new sidekick, Donkey. Rescuing the Princess may be small
compared to her dark secret.
A show for the whole family from young to old that will keep you entertained with catchy songs and choreography on the journey from swamp to Duloc. Make sure to call the Box Office and get your tickets early, ready to make your friends green with envy.
