Art with an element of intrigue, incorporating poetry.
These mixed media works combine acrylic paint, ink and collage with poetry sourced from local writers. Lines of verse settle into the surface, sometimes emerging boldly, sometimes not immediately evident. In bringing community voices into her art, Susan creates pieces that are both personal and shared. Colour, texture and language work together to create a layered visual experience.
