Another
opportunity to enjoy this comedy drama following a farcical, foul-mouthed
scandal in a 1920s English seaside town.

Based on a
true story, the film follows two neighbours: deeply conservative local Edith
(Olivia Colman) and rowdy Irish migrant Rose (Jessie Buckley). When Edith and
fellow residents start receiving wicked letters full of unintentionally
hilarious profanities, Rose is charged with the crime. But as the town’s women
investigate they begin to suspect she may not be the culprit after all. Dir.
Thea Sharrock, 1hr 40mins, cert 15.
