Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom (PG)

Another opportunity to enjoy this uplifting drama, set against the spectacular backdrop of the Himalayas.

A disillusioned young school teacher is transferred from the city to the most remote school in the world, cut off from modern life deep in the Himalayan glaciers. In a classroom with no electricity, and not even a blackboard, he finds himself with only a yak and a song that echoes through the mountains.

“Uplifting … explores the true meaning of joy, purpose and connection.” The Independent

Directed by Pawo Choyning Dorji.
