Wicked Little Letters (15)

A 1920s English seaside town bears witness to a farcical, foul-mouthed scandal in this comedy drama. Based on a true story, the film follows two neighbours: deeply conservative local Edith (Olivia Colman) and rowdy Irish migrant Rose (Jessie Buckley).

When Edith and fellow residents start receiving wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, Rose is charged with the crime. But when the town’s women begin their own investigation, they begin to suspect she may not be the culprit after all.

Directed by Thea Sharrock.
