Community Classes

Pilates

Pilates is a great way to improve posture, reduce back pain and increase wellbeing. Classes run on Monday mornings, 10.30am – 11.20am and Tuesday evenings, 6.00pm – 6.50pm and are suitable for all levels. Beginners and intermediate options are offered throughout so you can work at your own pace and build flexibility, strength, balance and co-ordination in a friendly supportive environment. For more information contact Rachel Garwood-Gowers on 07718 688506.

Swan Youth Theatre

The popular Swan Youth Theatre is now running at Number 8. Pershore Swan Youth Theatre is a lively, creative environment helping children and young people build confidence and learn skills that will last a life time. Sessions, which run on a Monday evening, are split into three age groups; Juniors (5-8), Intermediates (9-12) and seniors (13-17). Art Class

The watercolour and acrylics class meets on Tuesdays from 10.30am until 12.30pm. The class has been running at Number 8 for a number of years with three different tutors. The current tutor took over the class in May 2013 and has proved very popular. The class is open to people of all abilities who are keen to learn new painting techniques or develop skills they already have. Bend, Stretch & Balance (U3A) (3rd Tue of each month)

A class on Tuesdays 2.30pm – 3.30pm that’s open to members of Pershore & District U3A offering gentle exercise to help improve and maintain flexibility, posture and balance. Gentle Slow Flow Yoga
These weekly yoga sessions led by Tracy Bishop take place on Wednesdays mornings, 9.30-10.30am. Tracey leads gently flowing yoga classes to stretch and rejuvenate your body and your mind. Suitable for all ages, all levels. Participants are encouraged to go at their own pace and the class can be done standing or seated – you choose. Absolute Beginners Tap
These weekly classes are held on Wednesdays, 11.15am-12.00pm. This is a slow pace class for those with no experience, starting with the basics to fabulous music. For further details contact Ness Haller on 07786 032696.

Adult Ballet Exercise
These weekly sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons, 12.15-1.00pm. Using ballet and contemporary exercises this creative class concentrates on grace and flow of movement, finishing with a short routine. For more information contact Ness Haller on 07786 032696.

Wye Valley Health Fitness & Arts – 60 Plus Keep Fit Stay Fit
