These weekly classes encourage men and women to explore
structured, playful, expressive and free-flowing movement.

Delivered as a seated class
with simple adaptations for anyone preferring to stand, our sessions motivate
and uplift, helping reduce the stress and tensions associated with long-term
illness, injury, pain, anxiety, isolation or low self-esteem.

Inviting curiosity and taking
inspiration from music, poetry, nature, memory, art, conversation and the
creative imagination, we use movement to reconnect the body and mind,
uncovering a better sense of self, health and well-being.

This class is open to all
abilities with dances adapted to suit your circumstances, whether that is
living with a long term condition or disability, rehabilitating after illness
or trauma, pre or post-surgery, you’re a wheelchair user or with limited
mobility – or you just enjoy dancing at a gentler pace. Participants should dress in
comfortable everyday clothing.

No previous experience
necessary. Before booking please consult your doctor if you have any concerns
regarding your fitness.

Led by Marie Oldaker.
