Half Term Treats at Number 8

Number 8 is all set to keep children entertaining over the half-term holiday with a line-up of Kung Fu Panda 4 screenings, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt Interactive Storytelling Session and the family theatre production Finding Chester.

Holiday fun kicks off on Tuesday 28 May, 11am with a screening of the animated comedy adventure Kung Fu Panda 4, and a relaxed screening, accessible for those with sensory needs, on Thursday 30 May, 2pm. Tickets cost £8.50/ £7.50.

Children age 5 to 7 have the opportunity to attend an Interactive Storytelling session led based on Michael Rosen’s We’re Going on a Bear Hunt on Wednesday 29 May, 12-1pm. Youngsters will be singing, moving and grooving, swishing, sloshing and much more on this famous adventure. Tickets cost just £6.

The fun continues on stage with Rhubarb Theatre as they take family audiences on a journey around Britain with puppetry, mask, laughs, song and dance to find a missing moggy in Finding Chester. Edith Tiddles gets everything delivered to her door. She hasn’t stepped outside of her home in 15 years. So, when Chester, her cat, goes missing, Edith needs the help of her local delivery man Trevor and his work experience girl, Taz, to get her back. These two unlikely heroes set out on a search around Britain – from Leicester to Land’s End, London to the Lakes. Will Chester and Edith be reunited?  Join Rhubarb Theatre to find out…

Tickets for the performance on Wednesday 29 May, 2pm are on sale now priced at £12 for adults, £8 for children.
