Thank you Inner Wheel Club of Pershore!
Posted on May 24, 2024We are so grateful to the Inner Wheel Club of Pershore for choosing Number 8 as one of their charities of the year. Diane Cartwright, Inner Wheel President, visited Number 8 on 23 May along with Inner Wheel members Jan and Marilyn to present us with a generous donation of £400.
The donation was received by Ellen Honeybunn, who has volunteered at Number 8 for many years in the roles of Trustee and volunteer Education Liaison Officer. Ellen has played a major role in Number 8’s annual Schools’ Exhibition projects, which include workshops and exhibitions at Number 8. The projects give local children the opportunity to take part in artist-led workshops and have their work on display in a public gallery. We are pleased to announce that this funding from the Inner Wheel will be earmarked to support the 2025 Schools’ Exhibition project.
It was a pleasure to meet with Diane, Jan and Marilyn, and to hear about the incredible 100-year legacy of the Inner Wheel. Thank you to everybody who has supported their fundraising activities this year!
